For a limited time, Minnesota Star Tribune subscribers can gift an unlimited number of articles to let friends and family know what is happening here in Minnesota. Here’s how to gift those articles, so they can read without the interruption of the paywall.
If gifting from the StarTribune.com Website (Desktop or Mobile Browser)
- Open your browser and go to the article on StarTribune.com that you want to share.
- On most articles you’ll see a “Gift” button or icon (often near the headline or at the top/bottom of the story).
- Click (or tap) the "Gift" button. You will then have options to gift the article via copying and pasting a link to share, or emailing the gifted article directly to another person. The option to email a person will open your device’s email client.
Note: Gifting articles is not currently available in the Minnesota Star Tribune iOS or Android apps.
